If you like historical romance with a contemporary pace, this is the site for you! My books celebrate all the quirky, frustrating and amazing things men and women discover when they fall in love. I set my stories in Georgian England, or the Highlands of Scotland, during the late 1700s, because I associate the era with elegance, and rules that are just begging to be broken.
And yes, you'll find touches of whimsy and magic in my stories, because the world would be a very dull place without them! For more on my view of Whimsy, Romance and History, visit my blog at: www.AuthorDawnIreland.wordpress.com
I'm participating in the "Spring for Love Blog Hop" on March 27th, 28th and 29th. Find new authors and win prizes! For details go to:http://cynthiagail.com/spring-for-love-blog-hop/
All I Want For Christmas Is A Soul Mate (Christmas Anthology)
A Highlander For Christmas
~ Legend has it that if the need is great enough, and the hearts pure, the magic of Christmas will guide the way, crossing all barriers to help two lost souls become one. Such was the case on this Christmas Eve . .
So begins my time-travel short story set in Ithaca, New York, but it could just as easily have happened in any small city or village. That is, if you believe in time travel and the destiny of love. Mine is just one of twenty stories in this Christmas Anthology created by Soul Mate Publishing.

The Romance Reviews
*******It was great to see the characters develop and grow before my eyes. I could not believe the arrogance of the Duke and how innocent and trusting Cara is. There was a host of characters that had their own personalities, too. Mallory, the blunt sister of the Duke. The kindhearted vicar. The haughty butler and sentimental cook. I felt like I knew them all intimately before the end of the story.
Also, I was amazed by the twists and turns in the plot and I would definitely read this again. I did not want the story to end. THE PERFECT DUKE is an outstanding read for anyone who loves romance in 1787, London, England. The love story made me cry. There is so much to tell but I don't want to spoil it for the other readers.
I give this five out of five stars and a thumbs up. I loved it!
